Our Story
Hi I'm Rhiannon the owner and founder of Woods Mud Kitchens.

I am an Early Years Teacher (who's also handy with a drill!) working with children aged 2 - 5 years, and have learnt so much about how important the outdoors is to extend and expand a child's learning possibilities.

Our main ethos here at Wood Mud Kitchens is 'There's no such thing as bag weather, just bad clothing' and we whole heartedly stand by that statement. Lets be honest in the UK we cant always count on sunshine and rainbows! So we strive to encourage children outdoors come rain or shine.

Working with children on a daily basis has allowed us to refine our mud kitchens to be perfectly suited to children's needs, allowing them to dive deep into their imaginations and see what muddy culinary creations they will conger up next!

We always have the environment at the heart of what we do, all our wood is sustainably sourced and FSC certified. We only use delivery companies that are carbon neutral or better. We used recycled materials within our packaging where possible and all of our offcut wood is donated to the local community and used in various charity projects.

We were first established in 2020 and each year our business has doubled in size to now be where we are today and we really feel having the children's interests at the heart of what we do has helped us achieve that success.

So what are you waiting for? Add one of our Mud Kitchens to your basket and start getting muddy!
